What Is So Good About Good Friday?

04/02/21 Colossians 2:13-15 Good Friday was filled with sadness and sorrow in that Jesus willingly suffered as he was crucified on the Roman cross. However, what made this special day so good is that his death paid for all of humanity's sins so that we may enjoy an eternal and personal relationship with Him. If we first recognize the bad news of our own sinfulness and condemnation, Jesus' sacrifice pardons us from the fury of God's wrath and pave a way for us to enjoy forgiveness, freedom and peace with God.
