The days pass at a snail's pace, and you feel exhaustion clawing at your heels. Even if it were possible to sleep properly, piles of gold do not make a comfortable bed. That being said, your unusual companion appears to have no issue getting comfortable and sleeping deeply. The stranger frequently starts up conversation with you, usually about some event in history, or some philosophical concept. Always calm and pleasant while he sifts about amongst the treasure, or puts some creature he has hunted to cook. He confuses you. How could a man such as he have survived alongside such a beast? Did he tame the creature? Surely not. A greater dragon like you saw flying above the town could not have been tamed by a single man with no tools or weapons. But then, where is the creature?
