What is the real cost of leaving the EU?

from ZTR Radio · host ZTR Radio

Can anyone put a figure on the real cost of leaving the EU? The truth of the matter is that no one really can. Remember economists couldn't even predict the crisis of 2008. Nonetheless, we spoke to Martin Freedman -a former currency trader and nowadays a financial analyst, blogger and a leftie with a small "L"- about all things regarding Brexit and the economy. We touched on the "Leftxitiers", a term he has coined to describe people of the left who has supported the idea of UK leaving the EU. We chat about the social-neoliberalism of New Labour under Blair and Brown, taxation, the supposed "fair" trade under WTO rules and how Europe first split Labour in the 70's and now the Tories. A programme for those interested in hearing a different opinion. With Juan Toledo and André López Turner
