What is the root of the leftist political violence

The Democratic Party's core supporters have been led to believe that violence is a legitimate means to achieve their objectives. While most individuals are not inherently inclined toward such behavior, they can be provoked into retaliating against those who operate with this mindset. The majority desires peace, but they are now compelled to defend themselves.
