What is to be the apple of God's eye ?

How to please GOD to create a closer relationship with HIM ? To be a child of GOD but still suffering, how can it be ?I have not got those questions but have read it on Facebook and I answer it here in my way to see it in how I know GOD and HIS Kingdom. I am an observer and not a book-reader.
