What Is Toxic And Healthy Stress?
from the Mudroom · host Allana Robinson
Early in our parenting journey most parents get accosted by the word stress. Over the last 10 years, I have heard some form of the phrase "don't let them cry too much, stress causes developmental delays!" in the their first week of parenting, if not before. When I'm up here on my soapbox telling you your child is stressed, it understandably causes alarm. Here's the thing: stress isn't a bad thing. Only a certain KIND of stress is a bad thing. In this video we're going to be talking about: - A quick refresher on what stress is. - The 3 different kinds of stress. - What makes stress toxic vs healthy and normal.
