What Is Work?

from Greenhouse Church Long Jetty Hosted by Greenhouse Church Long Jetty

From our annual Sending Festival. The Bible begins with work: God turning chaos into order. Work is good, but since the fall it is cursed, and we swing between idleness and idolatry. The way through is to work as if Jesus is your boss, because he is, and to learn his unforced rhythms of grace. We finish by praying over every kind of work. Genesis 1-3, Colossians 3:23-24 Benj Gould
