What is Worship?
from Beyond the Message Hosted by Veritas Church
This week on Beyond the Message, Sam and Michael dive into John 4:19-24, where we see that worship is delighting in and displaying the worth of God above all things. We unpack the sermon's main points and go beyond yesterday with additional insight into the text. Highlights from the message: Big Idea: Worship is delighting in and displaying the worth of God above all things.God doesn’t need our worship. We were created to worship.Everybody worships (either God or substitute for God).True worship is done in spirit and in truth.Worship starts with internally delighting in God above all else then overflows in an outward display with your life. The only way to truly worship is with a heart that has been transformed by the Spirit of God through the person and work of Christ Jesus.
