What is your ego? Have you ever thought about it? Why does it talk to you? Why do you think the same thoughts over and over? If you don’t take the time to disrupt the entrainment with energy fields that pervade human consciousness, you won’t be able to get your mind to go quiet. You can train it. It will last for a little while. Slowly but surely the mind chatter will return. The mind is an expression of consciousness. If you work on your mind, you are working on the effect, not the cause. It would be like trying to get the weeds to stop growing by cutting the tops off with scissors. They just grow back.
