How do you ask for a raise? 1- Work your ass off!! -Show the work that you can do BEFORE promising what you may be able to do! 2- Ask for a review and review yourself too. -Be honest about the review that you give yourself and find out what your boss thinks you need to improve upon. 3- Have a dollar amount in your head, for how much you want to make! -Don't allow yourself to settle, if you don't get the amount that you were asking for, ask "What can I do to make $X?" OR "What does your dream employee do in this position?" Or "What is the most important thing to you that I should be doing, every day or now?" Always be willing to ask (and receive) the question "How can I do better?" It's really hard to be the perfect employee, but these questions here can get you one step closer to becoming the best employee ever!
