What it Actually Means: God Gives 'Power to Get Wealth'

In Deuteronomy 8:18, we see the saying that God 'gives you power to get wealth.' Many have used this verse to teach that God wants all believers to be rich and that we should come to God to make use wealthy. But what does this verse actually teach in its context? In this episode, Jake teaches through the context of this statement, showing that the clear emphasis of this passage is remembering God as provider, not using God's power to accumulate wealth!
