What it means to be Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institution (AANAPISI)

About 39 percent of UCI’s total student population identify as Asian American or Pacific Islander. This episode of the UCI Podcast explores the meaning behind UCI’s federal designation as an Asian American, Native American and Pacific Islander Serving Institution, commonly referred to as “AANAPISI.” UCI's ANNAPISI status is fairly unique among the UC campuses and members of the Association of American Universities (AAU).
