What it REALLY Means to Invest in Yourself (Patreon Bonus Episode)

from Blue Collar Mystics · host Bootsy Greenwood

Send us Fan MailThe rich get richer, the poor get poorer and the hungry never get fed. These are axioms I've resisted for most of my life. The truth about investing in yourself isn't necessarily financially linked, however. There are many ways to invest in yourself - the main way is TIME. Money can be lost and gained, time will never be replenished.I'm blown away at the outpouring of members to this Patreon page and I want to thank you so much for being a part of this and taking this course with me. If you do the work, you'll get the results. If you don't, you won't.It's been surreal to see everyone come in and I can't express the depth of gratitude I feel to be able to engage with all of you. I so appreciate the friends and loved ones who have hopped in here, who trust me enough after 10 or 20 years of building a relationship and I'm so incredibly HUMBLED that you'd be willing to go through what I've laid out. The fact that you are here is confirmation that I am on my purpose--that I am doing what I'm meant to do and nothing could feel better than that. No amount of money or pleasure could compare to the way I feel because of your confidence and faith in my work. It's flooring me.I'm going off a little bit in this episode because I want to illustrate the opportunities we have and the consequences we will inevitably face if we don't take advantage of them.None of us will get our time back, ever. No amount of money will buy time back. So, from here, we do the best we can to use our time properly and I hope that what I have compiled over a dozen years is truly helpful to you. I consolidated it down to its purest form as best I could and attempted to deliver it in the most concise manner possible. In this episode, I outline what it REALLY means to invest in yourself (hint: it's not financial) and go off on some of the bullshit I've seen when it comes to charlatans and fake gurus in self help. I'm not calling anyone out specifically, I trust you have discernment...I'll be publishing a chat for module 3 later today and I will be picking up the exercises on Monday and publishing a chat for module 4 then. I hope you have some time to go through and do what exercises you can. This doesn't necessarily have to be taken 7 days in succession, and if something is elusive, just give it some time. Also, if you have sticking points, I am willing to address those and I'm happy to help you find and tease out some answers with some other tools if need be.Thank you so much for being here on Patreon and building this community. Engaging with you is the best part and I am absolutely blown away with the support and willingness of everyone here.Have a wonderful Friday, enjoy this episode. Do the Work and You'll get the Result.1 on 1 mentorship tiers are coming soon for people who'd like to work with me as well as access to my Personal Private Mastermind. Thanks so much for being a part of this. The Regular Man Podcast The Regular Man Podcast Welcome to the Regular Man Podcast, where we celebrate God's gift of masculinity in the life of the Regular Man. Here, there are no pastors, no pretense, and no pandering. Just interesting conversation, realistic expectations, and practical advice for the regular man.Steve Cruz is the host of The Regular Man Podcast, created specifically for the regular, hard-working, blue-collar man. He’s a husband and father who believes men should embrace God’s gift of masculinity and live a life of Christian virtue.Steve learned the value of hard work, integrity, and respect through an upbringing of cars, construction, and a cadre of strong hardened men. As a military veteran and law enforcement officer, Steve understands the value of speaking directly and plainly on subject matters that are, far too often, nuanced to death by the modern-day Christian Church. As the host of The Regular Man Podcast, Steve has down-to-earth Yinz Know Ball - A Pittsburgh Steelers Podcast Blue Wire Jon Ledyard and Brad Spielberger have Pittsburgh Steelers fans covered with Yinz Know Ball, your source for Steelers news, analysis, and takes multiple days each week.
