What It's REALLY Like On A Meditation Retreat And Why You Need To Book One Now

from Stress Therapy with Cheri Flake: Meditation & Stress Relief for Real Life · host Meditation Teacher & Mental Health Counselor, Cheri Augustine Flake, LCSW: Meditation, Stress Relief, Healthy Habits, Spirituality, Mental Health, Self-Care, Self-Help, Happiness, Mindfulness

I am just coming back from a short, weekend meditation retreat that I ran with the lovely Cindy Dollar, an Iyengar teacher from Asheville, North Carolina. Today, I am filled with some excellent reminders as to why retreats are so important to your meditation practice. Surrounding yourself with a group of individuals looking to hone their meditation practice and go deeper comes with benefits that we simply couldn’t predict! This retreat was quite immersive and intensive, but not scary, not weird and perfectly accessible to all. Get an idea of what it’s like to retreat with me and other teachers and book your own retreat with a bit more confidence on how to retreat just right, and just for you.
