What Jesus Said About The I AM Statements

Seven times in the Gospel of John, Jesus said I AM — attaching to it a description of who He is. In Part 5 of What Jesus Said, we look at all seven, and at the significance of the phrase itself. When God spoke to Moses from the burning bush, He said: I AM WHO I AM. Tell them I AM sent you. That name — so sacred that most Jews would not say it aloud — is what Jesus used to describe Himself.
