What makes a show "comfort food".

Let's face it, the world is a pretty messed up place. However, we can escape for a little bit by watching shows that we call "comfort food". You might be saying, "How can a show be food?" or "What does that mean?" or "Man, I LOVE this podcast, it's so good and funny!
