What Makes Someone Independent?

Mary was born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up on Long Island. She attended The Fashion Institute of Technology, earned an AA in Fashion Buying & Merchandising, and continued for another two years in the marketing program. When Mary was 23, she moved to Columbus, Ohio and that's where she met her husband, whom she has been with for 31 years. They have two children and have been living on Bainbridge Island for 20 years.
