Vs 5-7 Since God owns everything, those who steal are ultimately stealing from God. Vs 8-15 If it is evil in God’s eyes, it’s evil; even if it’s legal in man’s eyes. Vs 16-19 No one ‘gets away with’ anything; everyone is accountable to God. Vs 20-22 God’s punishment for sin is perfectly proportional to the severity of the sin. Vs 23-29 God delights to show mercy when sinners humble themselves before Him.
