What On Earth Is God Doing?
from Chris Stuart - Tyndale’s Plowboy Hosted by cstpb
The central message of this sermon is that God's primary purpose in the universe is not to make humanity happy or to maintain order, but rather to receive glory and worship from all creation. This is rooted in God's inherent nature as the sovereign King of the universe, who desires to be acknowledged and adored by all. The teacher argues that God's plan involves reclaiming his rightful sovereignty over the universe, which has been usurped by Satan's false kingdom, and that this plan is not thwarted by human rebellion or evil, but rather it provides a greater opportunity for God to demonstrate His power and goodness by bringing good out of evil. The takeaway from this sermon is that humanity must recognize its place in God's grand plan and understand that our purpose is to reflect and proclaim God's glory, rather than seeking self-centered fulfillment.
