What Rome Clarified This Week And Why It Matters

Rome's doctrine office issued a note yesterday (November 4, 2025) telling Roman Catholics not to use "Co-redemptrix" for Mary and to treat "Mediatrix" with special caution, so that nothing eclipses Christ's unique work. I explained where this sits in Rome's system. It is not a new dogma as such, but authoritative guidance from the teaching office of the Roman Catholic Church. We opened Scripture, 1 Timothy 2:5–6, Acts 4:12, and Ephesians 1, to anchor salvation, intercession, and every spiritual blessing in Christ alone. I addressed "Mediatrix" directly, distinguishing the biblical office of Mediator, which belongs to Jesus by virtue of His once-for-all sacrifice.
