What's happening people? Today we have back to back episodes of the Sound of Black and Brown series “What should white people do?”, this is one of two. It is important that we note that this rally was very peaceful and not white washed, it was diverse, Palestinians, Black and Brown people were not left out or to the back. We had updates from sources on the ground and unpack our thoughts on rising Islamophobia and Antisemitism toward Jews who support Palestine which is supported by the undemocratic media coverage of what is happening in Gaza. It is important that we highlight that not only we covered the rally earlier, but it was quite diverse, with a lot of Black and Brown people, not white washed and heavily about white people and their issues. Despite this, there were a couple Zionists present, who were booed. Special shout out to Gen Z, the UConn students who led and facilitated this rally, it is important that we acknowledge the voice of the youth. No more money for Israel’s crimes!
