WHAT SOCIAL AUDIO SITES HAVE YOU TRIED?
from KeithKeller · host KeithKeller
Sherry Grant - Can you us this through the social audio sites you have experimented with over the years? Keith Keller - In 2006 I experiment with Blog Talk Radio. In 2020 clubhouse came out and it was an answer to the pandemic, something to do when you were locked inside. Twitter came out with a version called Twitter spaces, but a year later, that's how we met, probably, I think we probably met on Twitter. LinkedIn has a version. Linkedin's version is quite robust. It's a little bit sort of unstable at the moment, but LinkedIn has a billion users, so it's a good place to get an audience. My favorite is Discord, because it has a lot of really great tools to make it easier for me to moderate if I do get a bully in the show, it's, it's a very, very great looking site. It's purpose built for making communities. We have a community there of people, 220 people and we meet every Wednesday at 10am Melbourne time. 12 o'clock for you there in New Zealand. We get about eight or 10 people coming every week, and we share in a community, way, the trends that are going on that week. My latest sort of obsession, is a site called Go brunch, which I love. Go brunch.com and I set up a little radio station there, go brunch radio.com and it looks like a radio station, and it's pretty, pretty fancy. There's a lot of different sites you can choose from and they're all good. You just choose the ones that suit you, or they might look better on your phone, or they might work better for you. It's, it's all personal choice, isn't it?
