”What The Big Deal?”

Have you ever stopped to think.... what can cause a 400-year-old Redwood tree to fall? Redwoods are so huge, a single tree itself can be habitat for an incredible number of species. But what if I told you that one of these species, just a single one is what caused this ancient tree to fall? The tiny beetle. One tiny beetle will eat the tree from the inside out compromising the structure making it weak, and eventually making the tree fall. So, what's the big deal with a small compromise? The deal is that in this same manner, what we believe to be one tiny, simple, insignificant compromise can destroy our whole Christian foundation and cause us to fall.
