What The Father Promised
from PropheticOracles's show Hosted by PropheticOracles
Please join me Tuesday May 19th at 11 am CST as we continue talking about the Gifts of The Spirit. Did you know - it was a command to wait for the promise of The Father? Gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised, "Which," He said, "you heard of from Me; (Acts 1:4) for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now." (Acts 1:5) Why? but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth." (Acts 1:8) To receive power to be His witnesses.. This is confirmed again in Mark 16 - The Great Commission in His power . Hope you can join me! Char
