What the Hell is in Trump's safe? Part 1 Today I talked to Dr. Bob McGwier about documents and the classification of documents by the US government. Dr. McGwier spent 27 years working for the top military think tank for the Department of Defense- the institute for Defense Analysis. Bob held some of the highest security clearance levels in the government and he is an expert at how the system actually works. Together Bob and I talk about what might have been in the warrant executed at the residence in Florida of the 45th president of the United States. Bob describes how documents are handled and how documents, even declassified, cannot be taken home like anybody. The documents are the official history of the United States and all these documents are housed at the national archives and record administration facilities people. people can take copies of declassified documents home, but not the originals. Finally, in the interview I asked Bob why he thinks the FBI took this seemingly dangerous effort, and what they might have been looking for.
