What the Holy Ghost Can Do For You || Pastor Jason Sharp
from Messages at CalvaryOKC Hosted by CalvaryOKC
The Holy Ghost changes EVERYTHING. On Pentecost Sunday, Pastor Jason Sharp preached a powerful message about what happens when the Spirit of God fills a person’s life. The Holy Ghost is not just emotion. It’s not tradition. It’s not hype. It is the Spirit of God living inside of you. And when the Holy Ghost comes into your life: • Peace replaces anxiety • Joy replaces emptiness • Purpose replaces confusion • Freedom replaces bondage • Alignment replaces conflict Pastor Jason taught how humanity constantly searches for answers because there is a spiritual vacuum inside every person. People try to fill it with: Relationships Success Entertainment Addictions Money But nothing satisfies the soul like the presence of God. “The world can’t fix your problems. Jesus can.” This message also walked through the biblical experience of Pentecost in Acts 2 and explained repentance, baptism in Jesus’ name, and receiving the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. The Holy Ghost is not just for a few people. It is for everybody. And the greatest thing about living for God? The benefits. Peace. Joy. Direction. Provision. Healing. Purpose. Relationship with God. “Serving God is the best life you could ever live.”
