What the Pandemic has changed in design

from Home Design Chat with Nancy · host Nancy Hugo

On March 11, 2020, Nancy and Les Sturdevant, owner of Design Dream Kitchen Studio in Scottsdale, discussed the evolution of kitchen design from the 1950’s to the 1990’s.  They were going to continue this theme for the 2000’s on the following podcast, but due to the Coronavirus and social distancing, the podcast got put on hold. They remotely recorded the podcast today chatting about the trends of the 2000’s and 2010 decade. They also discussed how the Coronavirus Pandemic has affected society and what changes will be made in the future for home designs.  There will be many changes to home design happening due to the pandemic.  Home offices, more food storage space and a safe room for quarantining will be some of the changes discussed on this podcast. NOTE:  Due to the CDC ruling on Social Distancing,  Les and Nancy were in two different locations using their phones to record this podcast. Hope you enjoy it!
