What to do when someone MAJOR leaves your business - with Lisa Corduff

from Big Dreams Great Teams® with Paula Maidens · host Paula Maidens / Lisa Corduff

Have you ever had someone major leave your business? I’m talking about someone so integral that you completely depend on them for almost everything. In this episode, I’m chatting with one of Australia’s leading transformational coaches, Lisa Corduff. Lisa is a force of nature when it comes to mindset and shifting limiting beliefs to guide women back into their personal power. I connected with Lisa when she was my business mentor. I believe so strongly in Lisa’s mission that I was in her mastermind group for two years. She has a treasure trove of experience from 9 years running her own online business and I’m so grateful to have her on the podcast today. Lisa is hot off the heels launching her ‘Ready for Change’ program. This is a five-week program that helps women break through the stories that are holding them back in their lives. Lisa is sharing her journey launching this program after her amazing, vital and highly efficient OBM left the company. She had to hire and cultivate a whole new team to handle the workload and ensure a successful launch. Her previous OBM was so effective and intent on giving Lisa the space she needed to show up as the brand, that Lisa didn’t know how much her role actually encompassed. She learned that she doesn’t need to be able to do it all. She hired a launch manager, Facebook ads manager, customer service, tech support, and a copywriter in one year. We discuss the dynamics of the new team and the difference between this launch compared to previous ones. As leaders, we must build a business where people work within our systems and these systems hold the business up. If the reverse happens and people hold up the systems, then when people leave it makes a huge impact on our business. Lisa feels like a large part of her job is now managing her team. We need to be really clear on what we want to build and the impact we want to generate. Having a bubble around you means that you’re not setting the culture.Whether you’re hiring, leading, or growing your business, you’ll never get it perfect but Lisa encourages everyone to just jump in. Where to find Lisa: Website: https://lisacorduff.com/Instagram: @lisacorduffFacebook: @LisaCorduff1The Mood Shifthttps://lisacorduff.com/shift/Ready for Change waitlist https://lisacorduff.com/readyforchange-waitlist/Where to find Paula: Website:https://paulamaidens.com/Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/paulamaidensconsulting/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/paulamaidens/Facebook: Savvy CEO Secrets for Entrepreneurs | Facebook
