As of this recording, we're in about the middle of May, and things have gotten a little dicey lately. It's been a while since we've had volatile downmarkets. I guess the last time was in 2020 when COVID started happening. Before then, it's been a really long time. Even with 2020, that was really fast, and then it just shot right back up. Markets do go up and down. If you've been investing long enough, you realize that that's kind of the way it goes, but either way, even if you've done this a million times, it can get scary.
