What to Do When Your YouTube Channel Stops Growing in Views and Subscribers

Who’s ready for more YTPH episodes?   What happens when your channel grows really quickly, but then stalls out and gets stagnant?   I talked with Shanygne a.k.a Too Much Mouth this week on the podcast, and she talked about how she reinvigorated her beauty YouTube channel by truly bringing her personality into her channel, diversifying her content, and incorporating more of herself and her interests into her channel.   Shanygne also stressed the importance of knowing what her audience wants. Don’t just ask your audience what they want from you… really listen to them. YouTube is always changing and evolving, so in order to avoid a stagnant channel, it’s important that you know what the trends are, what your listeners are watching on other channels, and apply that to your own channel.   So what should you do if your channel is stagnant? Listen to your audience’s insight to what they like and don’t like, both from you and others.  Go with your strengths: what is it that YOU have that nobody else has?
