What to Say When a Five-Year-Old Asks: Is God Real? 8.2.26.

Our summer preaching series, “The Sermon I Need to Hear,” continues this weekend with a wonderful question from a grandparent: “how do I respond thoughtfully when a 5 year-old asks me, ‘Is God real?’” This Sunday’s worship service focuses on our children and their return to school and we start a new tradition of blessing backpacks—everyone should bring their “backpack”—elementary, middle, high school and all teachers, too! Children, Youth, and Family Director Kristin Hicks and Rev. Lewicki will deliver the sermon in dialogue together.
