An LAPD criminalist testified that Bluestar sprayed across a garage floor lit up on rubber mats, the bricks beneath them, a rowing machine, a tarp, a charging cord, and a trash bag of wipes. All presumptive positive. Defense attorney Blair Berk pushed back hard, getting the criminalist to admit she can't call it definitively blood, and raising two chainsaws that were never swabbed. Then the hearing's final session. The medical examiner testified Celeste died from two sharp-force wounds and had been dead for weeks before her body was found. A detective walked jurors through her phone records, messages dating back to when she was eleven years old, close to fifty images labeled illegal material involving a minor, and texts from January 2024 showing she was thirteen and pregnant. Her mother cried in the gallery through the testimony.
