What We Didn't Know About Catholicism with Mike Shreve

from The Collective Resistance Podcast · host thecollectiveresistance

In this episode, Fabi and I discuss our experiences growing up as Catholics in the US and Brazil, highlighting the cultural differences in Catholicism. Despite these differences, we found that our lack of knowledge about the Catholic Church was a common thread. We explore what we’ve learned about the Church and broader Catholicism, particularly regarding salvation.   Our goal is not to criticize Catholics; we both enjoyed our time in the faith. However, we believe in examining issues within the paradigm. Knowing many Catholics, we aim to address these concerns and allow listeners to determine if Catholicism remains their best path to salvation and a true relationship with Jesus.   Joining us is Mike Shreve from Shreve Ministries, who has also experienced the Catholic faith. He has published a book, The Belief of the Catholic Church, which covers much of what we discuss in this episode. His ministry maintains a website for Catholics at http://www.toCatholicswithlove.org.   This episode is available in video from our Rumble channel at: https://rumble.com/v5hfzzx-tcrp-episode-99-what-we-didnt-know-about-catholicism-with-mike-shreve.html     Resources for this episode:   Mike Shreve http://shreveministries.org http://deeperrevelationbooks.org http://www.toCatholicswithlove.org
