When Justice Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed to the Supreme Court on Saturday, despite moving Senate testimony from Dr. Christine Blassey Ford that he had sexually assaulted her when they were teens, the country divided along mostly partisan lines on whom they believed and what they thought of the outcome. One issue that got little discussion in the controversy over Kavanaugh was the 5-4 conservative majority he brings to the highest court in the land will mean for environmental regulation in America.
