What Will "Skeleton Crew" Add to the Big Picture?

The next Star Wars streaming series, "Skeleton Crew" will debut on Disney+ on December 3rd of this year. The show takes place at the same time as "The Mandalorian" and will therefore be part of the unofficial "Mandoverse", so named by the fans. The question that always comes to the mind of a Star Wars obsessive like myself is: What familiar characters will appear and what will this series add to the overall story of the galaxy far, far away? Join me as I theorize.
