A Food and Drug Administration advisory panel voted to broaden access to at least one peptide amid a two-day panel discussing whether compounding pharmacies can fill prescriptions for some unapproved peptides. The meeting comes during a surge of interest in the unapproved therapies. Adam Yamaguchi reports. Independent autopsy results commissioned by Nolan Wells' family found the cause and manner of the 18-year-old's death were undetermined, pending further investigation. Wells died during a July Fourth boating trip with friends.
