What you need to know about the ongoing Real Estate lawsuit and how it affects you

Send a textThis week we are joined by my colleague and Josh Dawson, managing Broker for Keller Williams Consultants Realty. Josh will walk us through the current lawsuits out there against the real estate industry and how it affects us, if at all. As of now, the lawsuit is far from over and likely wouldn't affect anything until all appeals are exhausted a Supreme Court ruled on the matter. Since nothing is changing right this second, it allows us time to discuss this and figure out how to help our clients and maintain our level of expertise to guide people on their home buying and selling journey. It will just come down to the fact that as of now Ohio is a state where the seller pays commission for both sides, but in the future it could be different and it could be up to the buyer's to pay.
