What You Need To Know Before an Exchange

Money Talks (And so Do We) returns for its first episode in semester 2! For our first episode back from the break, James and Ally interview some of our UQES exec who have recently returned from exchange, hearing about their experiences abroad and asking about any advice they can offer students currently going through their own exchange application process or are weighing up going on exchange at some point during their degree. Our exec’s experience ranges from short-term exchanges at the London School of Economics across the winter break, to Semester based exchanges in both South Korea and Hong Kong, as well the I-Lead program in London, and UQ Ventures program based in Singapore. For each experience, our execs walk through everything involved in going on their exchange, including their application process, subject selection, flights and accommodation, as well as recalling highlights from their trip – so that students may have a better picture of what studying abroad really looks like.A huge thank you to Ashley, Daniel, Darcy, Kat and Gina for sharing their incredible experiences with us.
