Welcome to Episode 113! Phew it has been a week, amiright?? An newly crowned STAR, decisions reducing basic rights, new threats, and shining a light on the fragility of society. It's all a bit much but it's gonna be colorful around here. So grab a glass of your Summer 2022 port vintage, because it's time to paint!
Kicking off this episode with the Trash Pick-Up, Mark & Casey are talking movies and yardwork. Casey went for a health check up and got some news last week. Then over the weekend, he went up to the movies for an anticipated summer blockbuster (no there were no Tom Cruise sightings in this one). Mark is in summer mode with the return of yard work prepping for the 4th of July so the work is already done.
In this week's Mid-Section, with a newly crowned EGOT joining the elite list of STARS with the 2022 Tony Awards, The Boys are reviewing the list of huge names who are EGOTs and what they won for. Who is knocking on the door to join this list? What do they need to be among these talented elite names? Mark & Casey are spilling the tea and giving you their own thoughts on the likelihood of each becoming a EGOT.
Next up, it's time for this week's Trash Talk. In a punditry focused segment this week, The Boys are discussing the Select Committee hearings thus far and the recent high profile decisions from the highest court in the land -- SCOTUS. These topics sure are serious but there is some paints to be done as only Painted Trash: An LGBTQ+IA Podcast of Discourse can give you! Mark & Casey will have you laughing, maybe crying, but certainly thinking with this one.
