Late last week, the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives voted to pass a bill that includes the cancellation of nearly $1.1 billion dollars in federal funds for public media – funds that Congress had previously approved for this year and next. The bill now goes to President Donald Trump, who is expected to sign the measure into law.
