What’s going on in Henry County?

When our Founding Fathers designed the greatest form of government ever known to the world at that time, they knew it was necessary to give the power to the people because even the greatest of men can become corrupt and need to be held accountable.In the small and mostly rural area called Henry County, God used some very difficult situations to draw the people out and begin to change the things that were bent on destroying their community. It is never fun to be squeezed, but often times, that’s really the only way to get people’s attention (myself included!) and thankfully God in His great mercy doesn’t just let us get squeezed and walk away. When we become His children (which only comes through our repentance and acceptance of salvation through Jesus perfect blood being shed) He is faithful to guide us and provide what is needed when it’s needed. I often think of the Israelites in the desert…the manna came when they needed it; not before and not after but right at the perfect time and with the perfect amount! (Exodus 16)I’m thankful for men like Josiah Town who continue to stand even when being told to sit down and shut up! We need more men like this!
