The Total Fertility Rate in Australia over the past 30 years has slowly dropped from 1.86 in 1993 to 1.5 in 2023. It’s a similar trend in other western countries. Putting aside lifestyle choices and economic pressures that cause families to have less children (or no children) intentionally, there is also a growing trend of inability to have children.
