What’s Happening in Jerusalem Right Now?

Israeli police raided the Al-Aqsa mosque compound today as Palestinian worshippers gathered for morning prayer. At least 158 Palestinians have been injured, including journalists, medics, and the elderly. Israeli forces also arrested hundreds of Palestinians, including children. Israeli settlers are also planning to make an animal sacrifice on the Al-Aqsa compound, a holy site for Palestinian Muslims.
