What's In a Name: Jehovah Jireh - Chris Frakes

Provider. The name Jireh has become familiar with people in the wake of the Maverick City Music song. God is our provider. He is enough. We can be content because He has and is all we need. But what is the deeper meaning and context behind God being called Jehovah Jireh? Is He like a cosmic Walmart stocked with all the goods we need for each week that we visit on Sundays to stock up? Or is there a deeper meaning in God being our provider this isn't less than but far more than we imagine?
