WHAT’S IN THE NEW GUN LAWS FOR NSW: We take you through what will be tabled in NSW parliament this week

The changes include limiting the number of guns per individual, limiting gun ownership to Australian citizens (and excluding New Zealanders), new reporting requirements for clubs, the removal of the ability of people who don’t have a licence to ‘try the sport out’ and banning all straight-pull and button release firearms (not just shotguns). WE LOOK at what Labor MPs, who will know from the calls and emails they’ve received, just how toxic this legislation is – and how they can avoid losing their seats at the 2027 NSW state election. They need to understand that this is the result of Minns choosing to be briefed by lunatics who have no qualifications or experience with the shooting industry.
