What’s in Your Bucket? (Jesse Finnell)

We all carry a bucket. It holds pieces of our lives, the things we think we need to hang on to. Maybe it’s old hurts, pride, fear, or habits that feel too heavy to drop. Over time, that bucket fills up, and before we know it, we’re sifting through the same cluttered mess, hoping something inside will finally make us feel whole.But here’s the truth: we were never meant to carry those buckets alone. Just like David in Scripture, who filled his bucket with mistakes and regret, we too can come to God and say, “Take this.” And when we do, He doesn’t scold or shame us, He simply lifts the weight, washes us clean, and gives us peace in return. We are reminded that Jesus already carried your bucket to the cross. You don’t have to hold on anymore.
