What’s Love Got to Do With It?

Jesus seems to proclaim it’s the most important word of all, and the Apostle Paul lists it first among the nine Fruits of the Spirit. But what does it really mean? Is it a feeling? Is it an action? Is it both? If love is so important, we better understand what it’s all about! This sermon continues our "Cultivate" series by examining how Jesus defines the types of love and emphasizes agape—unconditional and sacrificial love. We are reminded that bearing the fruit of agape love is only possible when we truly abide in a close relationship with Jesus.
