Whats Next!? Episode 29: Trust The Process

I took my podcast to the entertainment capital of the world. I took my podcast to Los Angeles "L.A." I want that to sit for a minute and soak in. My podcast has no MAJOR sponsors yet, it's independent; it's self produced, black owned and its the number one podcast in the city of Houston! I took it to L.A. and I linked up with FOUR AFRICAN AMERICAN women who are nothing sort of amazing. This episode is the second podcast of the four that I will drop from my L.A. run! This week I with another Texas Girl who unlike Ajia Munns from Episode 28: L.A. Inspired (Creativity), is a Writer and was a fellow educator like myself. She states that although she had a high paying job and the group of kids that would prove to be great scholars she wasn't fulfilled! She sites that attending a church different from her family church became her inspiration to move to L.A. so she gave everything away and set out for what Ajia called 'The Lonely City'. During this L.A. run the commonality of these episodes is that they are all from TX and moved for a better opportunity! We find out that Kalaiah is a poet and that she no longer claims to be just a screen writer! She now prescribe top being open to everything! She credits DeVon Franklin with "Provision is God's confirmation you're doing the right thing" Again I am so appreciative of Ajia and the extended arm she gave me with not only this podcast but episode 30 as well.
