This is the most introspective I've been since I started, Thank you Saint! I've been in production close to a decade, during my duration I've never been short of music to piece together my vision; I owe that all to my mans YVES! Once upon a time in Houston there was a super rap group who I had the privilege of personally knowing! They would call themselves The Niceguys! Of the four plus an honorary fifth member; I now have had 2 of the members in Todd and Yves; but I have also spoken with Tubo (Danny Ocean) the honorary fifth member! I loved these brothers and have always looked for a moment to share their work! Today we get the opportunity to play the records that I have adored in the last decade! The likes of Bout A Dollar (3:23), Juice (), Live a Little (), Real N*ggas () and Bloodshed (). On this episode, Yves defines himself as Persistent (8:36) and wants people to take that you still have time! (10:00) We dive into the decline of The Niceguys and understanding that it takes a toll on everyone but more importantly the ones who carry the financial burdens. Sometimes its best to walk away!
