What's Tempting You Today?

from Stolen Lunches Bible Study · host Jacinda Jacobs

Daily Devotion:   Only you know the secret temptations you desire.  Today, God wants to remind you the He always provides a way out. Maybe you're tempted to put someone in their place when they've wronged you, or you're tempted by lust.  You might fight with temptations by drugs or over indulgence in food.  Whatever your temptations are, God has given you the weapons to defeat it. God is faithful and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability.   1 Corinthians 10:13, "The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure."   We cannot always control everything that happens to us in this life, but we can control how we respond. Many struggles come as problems and pressures that sometimes cause pain. Others come as temptations, trials, and tribulations. -L.
